Nerdageddon

Chris Bonjour created, developed, and operated Nerdageddon starting in 2013. Using knowledge about successful small business practices obtained while working with SCORE, Nerdageddon was launched in the Brighton community. With a detailed marketing strategy of social media campaigns, weekly email newsletters, customer loyalty program, and traditional advertising Nerdageddon quickly gained traction among consumers.

Named runner-up for Best Comic Book Shop In Detroit in 2014 by both Detroit A-List & Channel 4’s Vote 4 The Best, Nerdageddon built on that success to capture Detroit A-List Winner for Best Comic Book Shop in 2015 followed by Facebook’s Best Comic Book Shop in 2016. Nerdageddon consistently appeared in local newspapers like The Livingston Daily due to our press releases. Brighton High School gave us the greatest honor when our team was asked to assist with instruction of their social media classes in 2015 & 2016.

Chris produced both video and radio commercials for Nerdageddon’s advertising. Not only was the store for retail use but also a hub for great events including celebrity signings, parties, and tournaments. Nerdageddon hosted events off site with community partners for live event entertainment.

In 2017, Chris leased the Nerdageddon brand giving the leasee detailed best practices for marketing, inventory, and customer relations to focus full time on World Wrestling Network’s Club WWN program and brand development.
